• My Campaign Pledge

    Direct - Honest - Fair - Respectful.

I live my life by these principles and I will run my campaign by these principles as well.

I will be open and honest in all of my dealings in this campaign, will give straightforward and direct answers to questions and issues raised in this campaign, and above all will strive to be fair to everyone.

This is how I have tried to live my life; it’s how I will run my campaign; it's how I will behave when elected.

I will not abandon these principles in order to win this election, and invite my opponents to make the same pledge.
I invite you into my life to make your own judgment. Please contact me anytime if you have a question, a suggestion or a criticism.

    Life

A while back my mother fell and broke 2 ribs.  As a result, her lung was punctured and collapsed.  My mother’s doctor had her hospitalized, because he was afraid my mother would get pneumonia.  At the same time, my mother had a friend who was also hospitalized for pneumonia.  My mother got better, but her friend died.  So often we take life for granted, never realizing how fragile life really is.  I hope I always remember not to take life for granted, but rather to honor and cherish it.

    The Same Spoon

Everyone wants to be fed from the same spoon. This is especially true in court.  When one person receives preferential treatment in court, it brings the whole court system into disrepute.  All anyone wants in court is to be treated equally, like everyone else.

Judges are sworn to avoid anything that even appears improper.  As read the full post

    It’s a Matter of Clarity

People have a right to know their District Court Judges and where they stand on the issues.  People also want to know what is in their judges’ hearts, what they believe and how they will reach their decisions.  It’s a matter of clarity.

I have put my entire life before you in this campaign.  I read the full post
